| 1. A la Mode Installation Notes | ||||||||||||||||
| A la mode is an easy installation; please follow the installation movie. For “Direct Installation”, just make one page for each movie you intend to install a movie to, then follow the direct installation notes as usual. HTML Mode is triggered by click the < > in the lower left of the page editor. | ||||||||||||||||

| Note with Myers your movies will not show until you actually publish, due to restrictions. This may be lifted now due to code changes on our side relaxing the “calling domain (requesting URL, i.e. page around the movie). HTML Mode is triggered by clicking the HTML button in the top right. Here are some screen captures to help you:
Step 1:Get to editing the correct page; we suggest placing these on your home page for best results. Click Edit Website (Orange Link) Step 2: Click Edit Home Page (Orange Link again) Step 3: Click Edit Home Page Title (yellow link..for now, install this way. Once you’ve done it, you can experiment and move the code is you like). Step 4: Add a row of X’s – this makes it easy to find when looking at HTML code. Type XXXXXXXXXXXX Step 5: Copy your code from Movoxo’s widget Control Panel (Bottom of the page, everything in the box – i.e. <iframe src …all the way to /iframe> Paste this over the blue highlighted text above – i.e. <h2 class … all the way to ..</h2>. This may not have an H2 tag – it’s ok. You can just replace the XXXXXXXXXX portion and it’ll work fine. By the way, <br> will make a line break, and <P> will create a new paragraph. </P> is the end of a paragraph. Make sure you do not delete the < or > on the ends – or it’ll mess up your page. HTML is simple, it just works like this: command tells the text to <look this way> then when it’s time to stop looking that way, it just adds a / – </look this way> – so <h2> means “Headline Size 2″. |

| 5. How do I get people to see my movies? | ||||||||||||||||
| These movies work, but only if people see them. Each new account comes with a complimentary e-book about getting traffic to your website. Strictly speaking, our movies help conversions from your website, but by themselves, won’t help that much in getting more traffic, though having valuable content certainly help persuade other people to link to you and take you seriously. Having a website that converts visitors into leads is step 1 in building a money-making web presence online, having a website without our movies is like trying to fill a bucket with holes in it by pouring in more water, instead of just plugging the holes. You need to have a website that converts, and then need to get the right people to see it. Our subscribers also get ongoing tips, tricks, and recommendations to 3rd parties who can help with this. | ||||||||||||||||

| 9. Can I use these movies on YouTube? MySpace? Facebook? Can I mail a DVD to clients? | ||||||||||||||||
| Each account includes demo clips for use with video marketing, but the final goal for you having video online is to produce leads. Video clips on other websites are not able to include lead capture, so we strongly recommend using the demo clips as a means to promote your website, in conjunction with additional webcam recordings about short topics or market updates, to demonstrate your expertise. Currently, we do not have a product that allows for mailing a DVD to a client, however, we can guarantee that almost everyone can see these movies if they have internet and even a dialup connection. From studying our server statistics, we can tell you most people are watching these videos from a broadband connection while at work, or on broadband at home. | Each account comes with an introduction that is customized to you. Our system does not allow for customizing the main movie content, though we are working on features that allow greater customization of the movie content itself without your having to spend the extensive time recording the audio or changing the timing of the graphics. This new advanced customization will embed several pictures of you (for example, “hard at work on the phone”, and “smiling with a client”), along with geographic and racial customization (for example, homes in NYC look different than Phoenix, AZ, and racial customization will add a few more pictures of a given race (for example, latino, black, indian)) for our subscribers to make the videos look more custom made, without the hard work of making your own videos. | ||||||||||||||||

| 16. How do I get a custom production created? | ||||||||||||||||
| Before we can get you a price quote on a production, we need to know how complex the movie will be. We pride ourselves on excellent end product. For people looking to simply educate post-sale, Camtasia may be a better tool to get a production done quickly and cheaply. The downside to this is the production quality and polish will be much lower. As a ballpack, a simple 45 second animation might only be a few hundred; a 15 minute animated movie will probably run about $4,000 if we accept the topic. If we can use a portion of the work for other subscribers or other movies, the price will come down quite a bit, although custom production is always yours. Video host shoots start at about $500 all-inclusive; note we outsource actual video production and work with many producers around the world.
Please do NOT pitch us or tell us ideas you do not want other subscribers to have. We do business fairly and never want to be accused of stealing ideas. Because we have plans for literally 100+ productions, of which 40+ are in various stages of production, we cannot sign NDAs. That said, custom production is unique to you and will have extensive branding, and even if we were to later offer a similar movie to our subscribers, it will not be exactly the same. We can help you write the script, and do extensive research into marketing, neurolinguistics, sales dialogues, even Tom Hopkins-style sales phrases like “tie-downs”, or SPIN selling’s selling to implication. So here’s how you get one made: email us the answer to these questions, as a starting place, once you know you want a video made: Here’s how a custom production happens: it starts with the script: 1st, let us know the title you need made, then 2nd, answers to the below questions. Once we have this, we’ll give you a quote including script services. A. What is the basic product or service you want to communicate? Obviously we’re financially hip, but give us the overview. If I’m a consumer, what’s in it for me? Why do I care? What’s the problem this solves? How does it make my life better? B. Who are you looking for? Who’s your bull’s eye client? Who is your most typical client you want more of? Who do you NOT want to call, because they may not qualify for your product or service? C. Please give us at least one actual story of a client and how they benefited. Facts tell, stories sell…. D. What are the top few most common objections to purchasing your service? We can “head these off at the pass”. E. What is the next step you want the viewer to take? Online application? Call us? We need to know. Once we have this, we can speak and give you a quote, which will usually include script revision. Scripting typically takes a week, and production varies from a week to a month, depending on content. Naturally, we work with talent (in Los Angeles, we have plenty to choose from!), and work with a lot of independent video producers who may be able to do a shoot with you over a greenscreen if you like.
